YOGA

Maryl’s teaching is inspired by the beauty students express as they
become more fully integrated and expansive.  Her classes reflect
awareness of the healing power of play, profound respect for
boundaries created through strength, deep trust in the importance
of alignment, and complete confidence in the potential of each
student’s heart to open with elegance and grace.

Maryl was blessed to begin her exploration of yoga early in life at
a humble and beautiful studio in her hometown of Whitefish,
MT.  Her practice continued to grow throughout her
undergraduate studies at Colorado State University, where yoga
provided a peaceful refuge as she immersed herself in social
activism through interests in Sociology, Women’s Studies, and
Spanish.  However, it wasn’t until she moved to
Barcelona, Spain
for a year abroad that she fully understood yoga as an essential
part of her life and became dedicated to incorporating it more
completely.  She completed her first teacher training in August of
2006, and since then has looked for opportunities to share her
healing path with others through yoga, massage, and counseling.
MASSAGE

Maryl incorporates awareness from her various fields of study into her work as
a massage therapist, and works with each client from a holistic perspective that
honors all dimensions of healing.
She graduated from the
Montana School of Massage in 2008 and is also
certified in Reiki level 1 and 2, and Healing Touch level 1.
About Maryl
Maryl's yoga teaching intention
(Written at Amy Ippoliti's Anusara
yoga teacher training, March,
2010):

With courage, compassion, and
respect for complexity, I will use
yoga as a practice of repair and
integration to venture into areas
of the world, or of each students'
internal world, where isolation
resides, and invite an opportunity
for these places that feel so
separate to be woven back into
relationship with the greater
whole, and be healed.
